Neoprene Bearing Pads

With our decades of experience providing a range of solutions for customers throughout the Americas, we provide quality cushioning, pads and sealing fabrications cut to customer-defined shapes.

Our neoprene bearing pads can meet the requirements of AASHTO and CALTRANS specifications, and our Sorbtex®/ Viblon™ bearing pads can meet rigid military specifications and the requirements of AASHTO and can also available with PTFE surfaces.

Our neoprene bearing pads provide a cost effective solution with benefits such as:

  • Vibration absorption
  • Provide a smooth and uniform transfer of load from bean to substructure
  • Accommodate surface irregularities
  • Meet requirements of AASHTO highway specifications

Viblon™/Sorbtex® Bearing Pads

We also offer Sorbtex® and Viblon™ bearing pads capable of very high loads (to 10,000 psi) for use in applications such as industrial machinery, railroad and bridge applications. They are constructed of multi-layer fabric impregnated with nitrile. These can be ordered to meet the rigid requirements of MIL specification MIL-C-882-E and AASHTO specifications.

Our Sorbtex® and Viblon™ bearing pads like the neoprene and other materials are used to reduce vibration, shock and sound in heavy equipment applications.
